The Two Brothers Byadgi Chilli is sourced directly from the Byadgi region, Haveri district of the state of Karnataka. Byadgi Chilli was accorded the GI Tag in 2011 for its distinct wrinkled shape, long size, deep red colour and characteristic low spicy-sweet flavour.Ā 

Byadagi Chillies of the Dabbi variety are small and stout in shape, lends a not-so spicy taste and rich red colour to curries. It has more seeds compared to the Kaddi variety but is less spicy and is one of the main ingredients of the Ghee roast masala that Karnataka is famous for!

Best before 6 months from manufacture.

Lakadong Turmeric Powder

Golden, earthy, and packed with goodness, our Lakadong Turmeric Powder is sourced directly from the village of Mulieh near Lakadong (nestled in the West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya).

With an outstanding curcumin content of 10-12% (compared to 3-4% in regular turmeric), this variety is globally recognized for its potency and deep, rich color. Further, hand-harvested by women farmers using time-honored traditions, the rhizomes are sun-dried and hand-sliced, never boiled to retain their full natural power.

Thus, from daily curries to golden milk, every pinch of this turmeric adds warmth, flavor, and a touch of tradition to your meals.
